Description:	French woman moves to America and discovers that f**king and f**king is the same thing. Frankie travels to L.A. from Paris in search of her very own tropical paradise to rival the stories of her mother's idyllic Algerian childhood (before fleeing to France in 1962 to escape the country's violent civil war). We join Frankie on her quest as she encounters a civil war of her own - the Rodney King riots. We suffer her confusion and embarrassment at things "Americain." This touching and very personal mosaic is told in gripping, stark, vivid and, at times shocking terms, shedding just a little light on the history of violence we all share, no matter where we were born.
